This app is such a gift I love going to the temple do work for all our brothers and sisters in heaven and it is a wonderful place to feel the spirit. This app makes it even more special! It is so special to do temple work for your own family. This app is easy to use and makes sure all your names are used. Love this app!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Ancestry data for the world, available for free to everyone. Add your current living and known deceased family member info to find their parents as long as records are held. New historical records are obtained all the time. (Living relative information is only viewable to you. Nice place to track birthdays in a growing family.)

A friend introduced me to this app a few years ago. I love it! There is so much information available and it’s so user friendly. I also love the Find Family Around Me, it’s so cool to hit the button with friends and find out you are related! I have found so many family members among my friends! Including the one who introduced me to the app! The Famous Relatives button is also a lot of fun as well. I’ve shared this app with a lot of people and everyone loves it. Thank you!

I’ve tried for the past hour to sign up with two different emails and it just sends me through a loop of “confirm this is your email” and then “wrong password” and so on. I’m sure I haven’t made a mistake, I’ve tried many times but then it said my account was suspended! I haven’t even used it yet! Please help if possible.

Has potential but I was told through the app that I can’t delete a person on my family tree that I added. Apparently I have to contact support just to get this person who I have no idea is off my family tree. Unreal

I love being able to access the information on my family wherever I am with my phone! I can even see if I’m related to new people I meet!

The family tree app really helps you study and learn about your ancestors! There are many fun activities that you can do to learn more about your family tree!!! I really like and recommend this app to those who are seeking to know more about their religion and ancestry!!

My wife and i were accomplishing quite a bit until she became ill in 2019. Her condition continued to decline until she passed in February 2025. I appreciated findings from Family History which has been most helpful including my pioneer members who made the trek! I only knew of a Cousin who was LDS as a convert! That pioneer finding means a great deal to me! Now i am attempting to get back into my Famiky History and Ordinances needed. Thank you for this help and more not mentioned which has helped me a great deal!

This app is amazing and is very helpful for all things such as finding relatives and getting names for the temple 10/10 would recommend.

I have been using Family Search for many years and I am a Family History Consultant. I love that this application provides data hints that often provide information that I could not find elsewhere. The only thing I don’t like is when people alter my family tree because they believe that their research is correct without asking me.

I grew up in Southeast Mississippi and only had a few family stories to go on for our history. Family Search has opened up so much in such a short amount of time. And unlike some of my my family stories, I can verify this information with source documents. Ty

I love this app! It is intuitive, collaborative and my greatest resource in remembering and finding my ancestors.

This is absolutely amazing.

I love using family tree but I hate when I get a email then I go to the link and have to go through all the password and double verification. Once I’m in it’s great but gettytherte is annoying sometimes.

Great app, but an annoying misplacement of the back button/arrow. If you hit the back arrow at the top— start all over. Just change this and it’s a 5-star app. Awesome potential.

Thankfully for the unique application

I love FamilySearch, it’s provided me with so much information about my ancestors and has allowed me to upload my own memories. However, I hesitate to even open the app because after just a few minutes, it becomes unresponsive and shuts down. It makes my phone unusable for several minutes, I can’t get out of the app or even turn my phone off. The issue is not my personal phone, it’s always updated and I have had this issue across multiple devices when using the app. The website seems to work fine but I wish I could easily access my family tree on my phone without worrying about it freezing and shutting down. If this is a developer issue that can be fixed, I would be very grateful.

Pointless updates to colors and box outlines introduce additional new bugs and fail to address the truckload of long standing, documented, easily reproducible, user time-wasting bugs. How many years before that new set of reported bugs is addressed?

The app asked for an update and when accepted it asks for another update over and over.

I have issues with pictures showing up on the family tree. Sometimes more pictures show and other time it doesn’t. Work has been done for people and it is not showing it. Not sure how this update needs to happen.

I love that this app connects you to people who you’re related to that have already been entered in. This app is actually free!! Unlike all the others that pretend to be but then you make an account and can’t see anything. This app I literally LOVE so far. I told my whole family to get it and my husband

I love everything about this app! Being able to read stories about my ancestors, view photos, look at my family tree, and write and document my own story is amazing.

My go to source for family Information . It has saved me miles of driving and hours of research time , and it's fast at my fingertips for rechecking information . Definitely a Five Star research tool for building your family tree .
